Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote and on-site server/workstation/network support and maintenance
  • Install applications and operating systems on customer hardware
  • Investigate user problems and identify their source; determine solutions; test and implement solutions
  • Configure and install servers (Windows 2012-2016), firewalls (Cisco, SonicWALL, Meraki), switches (Cisco, Meraki, HP Managed Switches) and other related equipment, devices and systems
  • Work in conjunction with the Project Manager to implement projects successfully
  • Review scope of work and perform implementation of projects
  • Create thorough and accurate documentation on all projects and support incidents

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Strong Cisco Networking, CLI, Configuration Knowledge
  • All Windows desktop and server operating systems
  • Active Directory, Group Policies
  • Microsoft Azure, Office365 Applications, SharePoint, Exchange Server
  • Citrix Environments
  • RMM platforms such as N-Able and LabTech
  • Enterprise-class network equipment such as Cisco, Meraki, HP, Dell
  • Network security products from Cisco, SonicWALL
  • VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms
  • Backup products such as StorageCraft, Datto, or Veeam
  • SAN Storage experience with Nimble, HP, NetAPP, both fiber and iSCSI
  • Enterprise Anti-Virus platforms such as Bitdefender, Webroot, etc.
  • All Microsoft Office Productivity Suites – Apple product knowledge a plus, iOS/OS X

Qualifications:

  • 5 + years of experience supporting and implementing network & systems infrastructure solutions
  • Professional, Industry, and/or Vendor certifications are a plus (including MS Server MCSA, MS Desktop MCSA, SonicWALL CSSP, CCNA Routing & Switching)
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of SMB networks, infrastructure, and equipment
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Ability to concisely document issues and resolution steps
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
